How
much space does a vertical tanning
unit require ?
Less than
1 metre square, they are ideal when
space is restricted and can be used
in rooms that could not otherwise
take a traditional home hire sunbed.
Are
they safe ?
The units
we provide are manufactured to the
appropriate British and European
standards and are fitted with dual
timers for additional safety. The
units need to be plugged into 2
separate wall sockets, they cannot
be operated from a single wall socket
with an extension lead.
These
units seem very powerful - will
I burn ?
Home Tan
Sunbeds promote responsible tanning
and we will provide you with a set
of guidelines, issued by the Health
& Safety Executive, whenever
we deliver a unit to you. Remember
these machines are considerably
more powerful than the typical home
hire unit and you should therefore
build up your exposure time slowly
in order to avoid burning.
How do these vertical units compare
to salon sunbeds ?
The main
difference is in the size and weight
of the unit. The tubes that are
used are exactly the same as you
will find in static commercial unit
and therefore you will be able to
develop your tan in exactly the
same way as if you visited a tanning
salon.
Most people
who choose to hire at home do so
because it is more convenient than
having to visit a salon and can
also work out much cheaper, especially
when more than one person uses the
sunbed.
